Description
BOVET MONO-RATTRAPANTE Men's chronograph wristwatch in steel, silvered dial with sectors, painted Arabic numerals and hour markers, telemetric scale, blued leaf hands, small seconds at nine o'clock, 30-minute chronograph totalizer at three o'clock, "Bovet" and "Mono-rattrapante" in the center. Mechanical chronograph movement, caliber 84, patented by Bovet and marked "Brevet". Brown leather strap, steel pin buckle. Movement functional at the time of appraisal, but not guaranteed over time, condition of parts not guaranteed. Presence of a small welding spot on one of the lugs. Diameter 35 mm Circa 1940 The mono-rattrapante function is offered by the Valjoux 84 movement patented by Bovet in 1939. The push-piece at two o'clock acts like a single push-piece, starting, stopping and resetting the chronograph. An interesting feature, however, is the crown on the pusher, which allows you to let the chronograph restart after stopping. The pusher at four o'clock allows you to stop the chronograph hand by pressing it firmly, and when you release it, the hand returns to the position where it would have been if you hadn't stopped it.
