An extremely rare, attractive and refined open-worked perpetual calendar platinum wristwatch of the famous Swiss watch brand Audemars Piguet, founded in 1875. Reference launched in mid-1990s, estimated production period: mid-2000s. Case in platinum 950 , diameter 39mm, thickness 9.3mm, transparent sapphire dial (a so-called ‘skeleton dial’ ), blackened gold ‘leaf’ hour and minute hands, sapphire caseback. Caliber 2120/2800SQ, self-winding , open-worked rotor with an inertial segment in 21k yellow gold, ultra-thin, with a power reserve of up to 40 hours. Functions – indication of time in hours and minutes, perpetual calendar with indicators of date at 3 o’clock, day of the week at 9 o’clock, month at 12 o’clock, and moon phase at 6 o’clock.
