A stainless steel automatic wristwatch with date and chronograph. 2008 Description In 1993, the first Royal Oak Offshore was released as an anniversary celebration of the classic Royal Oak that was launched in the 1970s. The Royal Oak Offshore goes back to 1989 when Audemars Piguet designer Emmanuel Gueit demonstrated a sketch of the Royal Oak. This larger and sportier watch was designed for watch collectors who are affectionate for a larger case. This rare model only saw 960 watches produced. The sporting aesthetic matches a 48 mm case size with a black mega tapisserie pattern dial, where the 2 and 3 numerals are swapped to represent Shaquille O'Neal's famous jersey number 32. Includes box and papers. Condition Report Revive Fair Good Very Good Like New The watch is in overall very good condition with light wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Strap has minor signs of surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
