An unusual, rare and early tantalum and rose gold chronograph wristwatch of the famous Swiss watch brand Audemars Piguet, founded in 1875. Production year: circa 1988. Case in tantalum and 18k rose gold , diameter 40.5mm, thickness 11mm, bezel in solid tantalum and rose gold with logo in relief, tantalum caseback. Matte dark grey dial, recessed counters, lens over date aperture. Self-winding caliber 2126/2840 with an inertial segment in 21k yellow gold. Functions – indication of time in hours and minutes, small seconds at 12 o’clock, date aperture at 3 o’clock, chronograph with central seconds hand, minute counter at 9 o’clock, hour counter at 6 o’clock, tachymeter scale.
