5666 CODE 11.59 Chronograph 26393NR.OO.A002KB.01 2023 Box and Papers Audemars Piguet's latest model family is the Code 11.59 - an entirely original design, drawing inspiration from earlier watches. It's a move away from the angular shapes of the Royal Oak, returning to a more conventional design (albeit with contemporary skeletonised lugs). It still pays homage to the legendary Genta design, however, by having an octagonal mid-case which is sandwiched between the round bezel and caseback. The watch also comes with a set of new in-house movements. These are beautifully designed and finished, but are also high-spec calibres with modern technology and long power reserves. The dials are restrained yet beautiful, and are a modern take on Audemars Piguet's pre-Royal Oak dress watches.
