For your consideration is this A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone, an extremely rare and stunning timepiece from Germany's most revered watchmaker. This Time Zone model builds on the already fantastic Lange 1 models by packing an extraordinary range of complications into a watch that's only 10.9mm thick. It's a masterpiece of engineering and design, with all of the features perfectly built around each other in a manner that makes it easy to operate and highly legible on the dial side. The result is a dress watch without equal. And of course, the movement. Every movement that Lange has ever produced is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the calibre L051.2 powering this Lange1 is no exception. Visible through the sapphire display case-back, the watch displays a variety of different hand finishes that make the movement appear to almost pop out of the case. The trade-mark hand-engraved floral pattern is of course on the balance wheel, but with this particular watch we see it twice, with the upper bridge for the time zone function also featuring a hand-engraved pattern. The watch is fitted on a Lange brown alligator leather strap with matching pink gold buckle. Also included with the watch is a bonus brand-new black alligator leather strap. Accessories The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers. Condition The watch is in excellent condition, with only very minor signs of wear visible upon close inspection.
