The special status of this timepiece is based on the combination of traditional elements of Saxon watchmaking with an unusual dial design and useful innovations such as the Lange-typical large date. The design of the Lange 1 follows a clear principle: all displays are arranged off-center and form the shape of an isosceles triangle. The date is displayed in a golden frame in numerals that are around three times larger than in watches of comparable dimensions.
The long 1 is the icon of our Saxon manufactory. Hardly any other timepiece has received so many awards in recent decades.
