With : Gold plated Rolex buckle The present reference 1803 is a particularly well-preserved and highly attractive example of this celebrated model, distinguished by its vibrant green 'Stella' lacquer dial. The intensity and depth of the colour, combined with its glossy enamel-like finish, lend the watch a striking and unmistakable presence. Further enhancing its appeal, the date wheel is presented in German. Produced in the late 1970s and early 1980s in very limited numbers, Stella dials were created through a meticulous process in which coloured lacquer, mixed by hand, was applied in successive layers to achieve a rich, high-gloss surface.
