This example was made in 1970 (serial 2.86 million) and the solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. The original and untouched champagne dial is just magnificent. The applied gold hour batons along with the gold hands blend perfectly with the dial and are beautifully framed by the solid 18ct fluted bezel. The super high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard movement is again in excellent condition and has just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. Very rarely we have the original Rolex solid 18ct yellow gold President bracelet which is in very good condition and a great size (please advise your wrist size when ordering). Watches of this quality and in this condition rarely come to market… The Case The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex crown and 44mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland Patented’, ‘1803’ and it has the appropriate hallmarks for solid 18ct gold. The Movement The super high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard movement is again in excellent condition and has just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. The movement is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Swiss’, ‘Twenty Six 26 Jewels’, ‘Adjusted 5 Positions and Temperature’ and the calibre is 1556. The movement number is ‘995227’.
