Scratch Resistant Sapphire Crystal. The 40mm diameter solid two-body 18kt white gold case with a coin-edge band, downturned screwed lapidated lugs, and stepped convex bezel, are brushed and polished. The dial is Blue dial with a fine sunray finish. There are applied solid Roman Numeral hour markers with luminous fill. There is a perimeter minute/second scale with pip hour indices and luminous dot markers. There is a date aperature at 3 o'clock. The Faceted "observatoire" style Breguet hands have luminous indicators and there is a center sweep seconds hand with a counterbalance. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 55-hour power reserve at full wind, and the case, dial, and movement are all signed. Sapphire crystal exhibition case back. Fitted on a Blue Vulcanized Rubber Marine Strap with an 18kt White Gold double fold-over deployant buckle. This Breguet Marine 'Horloger de la Marine' Automatic 18kt White Gold 5517BB/Y2/9ZU has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breguet caliber 777A movement, featuring an inverted in-line lever escapement with silicon horns. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 26 jewels, 179 components, and a shock absorber device. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat Silicon balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. It has a gold rotor decorated with an engine-turned sunray pattern, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
